Zach Feinstein brings a wealth of industry knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit to his role as a board member of the Dunedin Merchants Association. Born and raised in Dunedin, Zach's roots run deep in this community; he's a proud alumnus of San Jose Elementary, Dunedin Middle School, and Dunedin High School.
Upon embarking on his professional journey, Zach quickly made his mark on the restaurant industry. He has the distinction of being the youngest district manager in Burger King history, leading the #1 district in the U.S. based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales. Recognizing Zach's unique talent and potential, Burger King created a department specifically for him to assist franchises with over $1 billion in top-line revenues in rejuvenating their businesses.
Zach's pursuit of continuous improvement led him to earn his Six Sigma certification from McKinsey while still at Burger King, further equipping him with analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of business operations.
Returning to his roots in Dunedin, Zach, along with his wife Christina, purchased The Black Pearl, marking the beginning of their journey in independent restaurant ownership. Zach then became the youngest restaurateur in Tampa Bay from 2014 to 2017. He now operates four restaurants under three distinct brands, under the Feinstein Group (TFG), which has amassed over 100 awards since its establishment in 2014.
In addition to his restaurant operations, Zach offers consulting services in the areas of business strategy, labor optimization, restaurant/retail standard operating procedures (SOP) and infrastructure, data analysis, employee retention, and company culture.
Honoring his numerous contributions and relentless dedication to his profession, Zach was recently awarded the prestigious Tampa Bay Business Journal 40 Under 40 award. He is an active participant in several boards, contributing his expertise and insights to help businesses and the community thrive.
Zach Feinstein is not just a successful businessman; he is a community member invested in the growth and prosperity of Dunedin. His vision, operational excellence, and community spirit make him an invaluable asset to the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association.
